What a wonderful bathroom renovations project for us to be involved in. We often find that bathroom renovations in the hills district are more commonly multiple rooms. In this case, we had two area’s upstairs and two downstairs.
First thing first, we spent some time carefully and meticulously protecting the clients home before any work took place. All of the trafficable areas were protected including polished floorboards and carpet areas, along with protecting the handrails and walls in the stairwell. We even bubble wrapped the chandelier light fitting!. We always make sure to take the time to protect our customers home so that we can leave it how we found it.
We began the bathroom renovations hills district project upstairs with the main 3-way bathroom and the ensuite. The 3-way bathroom was quite common for this age of home, it had an old timber vanity which sat outside the spa bath and shower room along with a separate toilet. The brief was simple enough, we were to keep everything in the same locations, however, update to suit a more traditional but modern style. The vanity was custom made by the client’s joiner and is a stunning shaker style floor standing vanity with stone top and under-mount basins. We absolutely love the client’s choice of Phoenix Tapware from the nostalgia range.
In the shower/bathroom, We waterproofed the entire area, then re-tiled with the new tiles. Replaced the toilet and all taps and fixtures. New lighting and a new coat of paint. We removed the old spa bath and fully framed shower screen which was broken and replaced it with an elegant freestanding bath and fully frameless shower screen.
Same again in the ensuite, however, this room has a very stylish walk in shower.
We were super happy with how the bathroom renovation hills district started with two classic spaces being completed upstairs.
The bathroom renovations hills district project then moved downstairs to complete the laundry renovations and bathroom renovations. We had completed the upstairs bathroom renovations and ensuite renovations so that the clients could utilise their bathrooms and enable us to move to the downstairs laundry renovation and bathroom renovations.
The laundry renovation consisted of replacing old joinery with custom made cabinetry which has a stunning stone top and once again with the Phoenix Tapware from the nostalgia range. Then onto the adjoining bathroom which was refreshed to the contemporary and traditional style in line with the other rooms of the home.
